Arlyn Gonzalez studied at the ENA (National School of Arts) in Cuba. In '93, as singer and keyboardist wuth the band "MEZCLA", she toured Europe participating in several international festivals such as the Festival of World Music Mariannensplatz, Berlin, Skagen Festival, Denmark; Karrebaeksminde Jazz Festival, Denmark; Hafenfest, Hamburg, Germany; One World Music Festival, Cologne, Germany; Caribbean Arts Festival, Santiago de Cuba and sharing the stage with important musicians such as Mike Mainieri, Steve Smith, Tony Martinez, Yosvany Terry.
In '96 Gonzalez co-founded the female group "SON DAMAS" which won 1st prize for best female group of '97 in Cuba, with which, for 6 years, she travelled to 16 countries in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean and recorded the CD "LLEGÓ SON DAMAS" and "A TODO RITMO".
Since 2002 she lives in Greece, where she has shared the stage with artists like Anna Visse, Antonis Remos, Elena Paparizou, Dimos Anastasiadi, Fotini Darra, Tonis Sfinos and more.
She has participated in shows with the prestigious artists and composers like Christos Nikolopoulos and Giorgos Xatzinasios, without ever losing her Cuban touch.
